MISSION

The Society of Wandering Tile Finders exists to reunite wandering mahjong tiles with the vintage sets they were meant to complete. Built on the belief that preservation is more important than profit, the Society is a free, community-driven network. Together, we hope to keep these beautiful pieces of history intact, playable, and ready to be enjoyed. 

 

HISTORY 

The Society of Wandering Tile Finders began in July 2026 with one collector, three incomplete antique bone-and-bamboo mahjong sets, and a growing box of more than 200 wandering tiles collected while searching for the few she needed.

Along the way, she discovered something even more remarkable than the tiles themselves: a generous community of collectors and sellers who spend hours searching through their collections to help people find tiles to complete their sets.The Society grew from a simple idea: what if there were an easier way to connect those generous collectors and sellers with people searching for tiles?
